In the International Kickboxing Challenge in Westside, Galway in December 1998, L Wemyss of Kilkenny Black Dragon won the 62 kg Category defeating G Hamilton of Pro Kick Gym Belfast and in the 74 kg category, P Herridge of England beat P Cummins of Kilkenny Black Dragon after the Referee Stopped the Fight in the 1st Round.
